MIM #228 Pearlized Blending

Pearlized Blending with Lizzie Jones this week at Papertrey's MIM.

There my Perfect Pearls have sat, neglected, unused for too long.
Until Lizzie's challenge.

I did it her way, cut my rectangle from vellum,
stamped my image from Botanical Blocks 111, with versa mark,
used clear powder, then applied the Perfect Pearls.

It's my attempt at CAS. Something I am not.
I did manage to sneak in a rhinestone, hopefully won't disqualify the CAS label.
Going right back into the craft room to layer and bling up something!

  6. I think this is gorgeous just the way it is with only one bling to it Nancy! That flower is just beautiful with the perfect pearls, and I think it looks fabulous against the kraft card stock...it's definitely a winner in my book! :0)

  8. Thanks for your comments Nancy, your card is lovely too. I will definitely try this technique using that stamp as it softens the flower and is gorgeous. My Perfect Pearls were also sitting unused - time to get them out again.

  12. Lovely Card. I don't think one sequin disqualifies the card from being CAS.

  14. Nancy this is so beautiful! I love the color of the flower against the Kraft! And the bling is a wonderful finishing touch and I don't think it should disqualify it either! :) I look forward to seeing what you layered up next! :)
